The primary role of the incument is to ensure that all the reconciliation, receivables & payables are done in accordance to accounting functions in line with GAAPs and IFRs, and to align the departmental goals to that of the organisation.Review Monthly Management Accounts - Analysis of Turnover, -Profit & Loss Statement, Performance analysis.Manage Cash and Bank accounts.Prepare year end trial balance, financial statement; organizes and maintains company financial records.Management of tax issues and statutory requirements for the company.Registrar of companies - filing of annual returns.Maintains and manages the Company’s fixed assets Register.Work with the operations department to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flow requirements.Ensure that all commissions receivables and premiums receivables are collected on timely basis.Liasing with both internal and external auditors.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelo'r's degree in accountingCPA (K) holder2+ years’ experience in insurance industry and/ or audit of an insurance firm.A good understanding of general insurance products.Knowledge of generally accepted accounting standards and principles.Knowledge of IRA reporting
