Accounting Officer

The Accounts Officer's duties will include but not limited to the following:
1) Issue sales invoices to our clients
2) Record all bills and present them for payments
3) Follow up with company's debtors for outstanding balances
4) Timely filing of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, NHIF, NSSF, NITA)
5) Handle tax matters
6) Bookkeeping
7) Bank, M-pesa, PayPal reconciliations
8) Proper record filing
9) Petty cash management
10) Any other accounting duties that may be assigned time to time
Minimum Qualifications
1) A higher Diploma Holder with a bias in Accounting and Finance
2) Attained CPA (K) certification
3) At least 3 years working experience in an IT or related firm
4) Experience working with the xero accounting system for at least 2 years (Mandatory)
5) MS-Excel competency
6) Between 27 to 32 years of age
7) Basic knowledge on tax related matters
8) Certificate of good conduct from the CID offices required
