A dynamic company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit an Accounts and Admin Assistant. The successful candidate must have over 2 years of experience and is expected to be proactive, diligent and attentive to detail, taking on a wide range of tasks.Key Responsibilities: Monthly petty cash checks and reconciliations.Follow up with the banks on payments and monthly bank reconciliations.Receivables and Payables management.Regular cash report updates.Data entry – entry of all transactions into QuickBooks.Preparation of monthly management accountsFiling of all transactions with relevant support documents.Monthly billing and invoicing the various Inter companies.Support internal and external auditors.Fixed Asset register maintenance.Ensuring that all company certificates, statutory returns, and tax filing is up to date.Liaise with external Company Secretaries, in Kenya and abroad to ensure all legal entities are compliant and up to-date.Maintain electronic compliance library, registers, and organograms for the group.Manage opening of bank accounts.Prepare letters, minutes of meetings and company administrative documents as assigned.Monitor and manage insurance policies.Maintain employees’ files.Liaise with the external payroll service provider.Book travels and accommodations for staff. Qualification: Degree in Accounting or Finance or any other business-related field.Minimum CPA (II), plus a CPS Certification will be an added advantage.Must have over two (2) years of experience in a busy accounting and administrative environment.Ms office skills – Excel, word etc with Exposure to Accounting ERP software including QuickBooks.Analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.High professional integrity and organization skills.
