A bit about the role:
Link Projects is expanding its team to facilitate execution of medium scale construction projects, including ground up real estate developments and interior renovations. Our design team provides innovative designs which have to be translated into construction drawings to communicate the designs to the construction team, as well as to facilitate effective project management & billing of quantities. This role will be responsible for the production of detailed and up to standard construction drawing packages.

You are passionate about architecture & you love drawing out architectural details. First thing you pay attention to everywhere you go is the details of construction. You are highly organized and are able to work under time pressure.. You love communicating with builders and helping them to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
Production of detailed layout plans, demolition plans, dimension plans, flooring plans, wall finish plans, ceiling & lighting plans, electrical plans, air conditioning plans, etc.
Architectural elevations & sections
Details & joinery
FF&E schedule
Construction schedule
Procurement schedule
MEP plans and plans of execution
Detail books and roomsheets
Demarcation lists
Incorporate all drawings made by suppliers
Communication with designers & architects & thorough understanding of designs
On-site and off-site communication with builders.
Amendment of the drawings package according to the internal and builders feedback.
Successful candidates will have all or most of these qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor or Masters Degree in architecture or engineering. Candidates with a degree in Interior Design may also be considered.
Proficiency in AutoCad and/or ArchiCad
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented
Highly organized
Strong team working skills
Strong communication skills
An eye for aesthetics
“Get it done” attitude
Ability to work under time pressure

Required education

Required relevant work experience
: 3 years
