Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: - preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, monthly valuations on site, site remeasurements; and preparing variation orders
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Bachelor degree in any of the following discipline: Building Economics, Quantity Surveying or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Be Registered as an engineer with a relevant professional association of Kenya; and
Certificate in computer applications skills
