Duties and Responsibilities
The attendant should report to work fifteen minutes before the operating time to prepare the area of use
Steam, water and electricity should be switched off when not in use
There should be sufficient stocks of supplies in the washrooms i.e. towels, soaps, hangers, tissues, shower caps, slippers water glasses and eucalyptus
Bathroom walls and floors should be spotlessly clean, free from water stains and marks.
Toilets should be disinfected and scrubbed daily
Wooden surfaces should be dusted or polished as required.
Lockers and steam tank should be damp wiped daily
None slip floor mats should be scrubbed once per week and hanged outside to dry.
The rest beds should be spread neatly and cleaned with disinfected clean water
Benches should be free from water marks and dust.
Water lemons and glasses should be readily available.
The Health Club should be spring cleaned once per week using a scrubbing machine.
The wash hand basin and the mirror should be thoroughly cleaned daily but shown once washed.
All clean towels supplied from the laundry should balance with the stock at the sauna.
Any lost and found item should be handed over for safety custody
All supplies and towels should be locked inside at the end of the shift.
Conduct regular spot checks of the gym and changing room facilities to ensure tidiness.
Sanitize exercise equipments.
Maintain a professional, clean and sanitary appearance of the locker rooms, fitness area and pool area.
Restock towels in both men /women locker room.
To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, neatness and orderliness of the health club area which includes the operating equipment, steam bath, sauna, washrooms and the locker rooms.
