Job Ref No: OIC/HR/002/21Job Position: Assistant Manager, Human ResourcesJob PurposeTo assist in managing the sourcing, developing and retaining a skilled and motivated employee base to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.key ResponsibilitiesThe position holder will perform the following duties: Coordinate recruitment and selection activitiesConduct induction and on boarding programsCoordinate performance management reviews and appraisalsSupport the Head of Human Resources in enhancing staff retentionManage employee training and developmentAssist in developing, reviewing and implementing appropriate human resource policies and proceduresEnsure compliance and adherence to company policies, procedures, rules and other operational guidelinesManage the HRIS - producing regular HR reports and maintaining updated HR Information in the systemsOversee the maintenance of personnel filesManage and update staff recordsAssist in the preparation and administration the Company’s payrollAssist in the administration of employee benefits (medical, insurances, pension and group life etc).Manage staff welfare and wellness programsDeal with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.Leading change management and create a conducive environment for performance and results delivery. Person Specifications Academic Qualifications Bachelors’ Degree (Human Resources Management preferred) Professional Qualifications Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Work ExperienceAt least 5 years’ experience in HR Management, preferably in the service industry.Skills and competencies Knowledge of HR strategies, models, methods and techniquesPeople management skillsConflict resolution and problem-solving skillsBusiness and Analytical skillsPlanning and organizing skillsGood communication skills - verbal and written.IHRM full membership and certification
