Responsibilities
Sales( Primary Role)
• Designingand implementing astrategic branch loan sales planthat expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
• Developing,implementing, and evaluating effectiveness of the currentbranch loansalestacticsto ensure achievement ofboth individual and branch targets.
•Visitingvarious dealerships and generatingleads.
•Achieving growth and sales targetsbysuccessfully managing the branch sales team.
• Holddaily/ weeklystaff meetingto come up with effective loan salesstrategies, communicate performance standards and targets expectations andensure they are met.
• Organizingactivationat the branch toincrease brand awareness.
• Recruitment, training and managingdirectsales representativesto help boost the branch sales.
RiskAssessment and Management
• Ensureproperdue diligence on KYCis conducted on all customer accounts tomitigate fraud.
• Ensureallloan applications meet all the requirementsof the company policies and procedures.
• Establishcollaborative partnerships with other departmentswithin the business,including Call Center, Credit Risk Analysis, Debt Collection and CreditAdministration
PeopleManagement
•Performance Management-Monitor andevaluate the performance of all branch staff through performance appraisals andrecommend / initiate corrective action where necessary to improve performanceand attainment of set targets, as well as recommending their confirmation andtraining needs.
•Succession Planning-Incollaboration with the HR Department, develop and implement a successionplanning program for the branch to facilitate continuity and availability ofrequired skills and competencies to meet the needs of the branch.
•Regular training of employeeson productknowledge and sales tactics to ensure they are well versed.
•Timely and effective communicationof changes incompany loaning rules and procedures tobranch employees.
Handling staff indiscipline casesat the branch level and escalating the issues toHR
Requirements
University degree in Business management, Economics, Finance or similar
3+ year experience in Sales and Managerial position in finance industry
Proven skills in building sales strategy, marketing and selling consumer products
Work experience relating B2C sales and branch management will be considered as an advantage
Fluent in English and Swahili
