Take charge of business and security operations of a Branch or business unit to bring about profitability in the Branch. The position has a leadership role with responsibility for leading and developing a strong management team capable of exercising effective management, financial and operational control of a Branch, Specialist Trading Unit or Project. Business Managers are responsible for both the retention and up-selling of products and services to existing customers, and the development of new business opportunities.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE.
Professional Training in Security
A minimum of 5 yrs experience as a branch manager, preferably in the security sector.
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in computer
Excellent people handling skills.
Firm & Fair.
Networking and Negotiating.
Manage the security service provision within the Branch.
Sustain the existing business and grow company business through sale of company products and services as per sales targets in existence,
Ensure that that all service contracts for the clients are current,
Establish, implement and review operating procedures, supervision, protocol and standards of performance generally and for each Client,
Manage security incidents and cause the investigation, draw reports and institute remedial action to address shortfalls in liaison with Operations Manager,
Carry out ‘operational’ intelligence surveillance within the region and escalate relevant information to the senior management team,
Manage the human resources within the Branch in terms of discipline, performance management, in liaison with the HR & Admin Department,
In conjunction with HR, oversee recruitment, training, deployment of the uniformed staff,
Gain a clear understanding of customers businesses, needs and requirements through monthly meetings and optimal deployment of effective staff considering his capability.
Hold Branch Operations Meetings with pertinent staff periodically and file minutes with the Operations Manager.
Make monthly Branch returns and reports periodically and promptly as may be required from time to time,
Keep pertinent Company records within the Branch: Personnel, Operations, Clients, attendance, Investigations
Do any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
