Job Summary
The Branch Manager will be responsible for overall Revenue Target for the Branch, as well as day-to-day operations in regards to HR/Administration, Sales operations in collaboration with the various Departmental Heads.
Duties and responsibilities
Business Development and Marketing
Formulate and implement business strategy that will provide basis for market penetration and growth
Plan and Manage Branch business portfolio according to market development strategy of the company quarterly.
Coordination of Branch Sales Activities with the respective verticals
Sales Business - Coordinate sales operations in liaison with the Vertical Heads.
Services Delivery - Coordinate Support and Delivery services in liaison with the Product Heads and IIS Head
Attend Sales Review Meetings with and the respective Vertical Heads on a regular basis.
Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and execute marketing plans for Mombasa region and provide time-to-time market information to the Vertical Heads with regard to competitors’ activities, pricing etc.
Closely monitor Mombasa sales promotion expenses, take prior approvals from Various Vertical Heads, and work on plans to optimize for the same.
Attend Branch Review Meeting with the management on a weekly basis
People Management and Operations
Oversee the Administration, Sales coordination and supervision of the day-to-day Operations within the branch.
Work with the Head of HR/Administration in planning the use of human resources, manage and improve the efficiency of support services and work ethics, monitor and supervise and control employee relations.
Implement and manage operational plans, including risk management, client processes and procedures, organizational policies, manage work environment, adherence to labor laws in all aspects
Work closely with management teams to meet the organizational goals
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of goals specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Ensure that Staff adhere to Company policies with regard to attendance, processes, and discipline among others.
Ensure Process Compliance within the branch and spearhead ISO audit in collaboration with the QMR Manager.
Financial Management
Financial – Control and recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the region in liaison with the Management.
Ensure that Accounting Department requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Candidates with work exposure in the coastal region( Mombasa) are highly preferred.
