Job Description

DEPARTMENT:Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Commercial Manager
SUPERVISION:Brand Assistant & Beauty Promoters (3)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for elements of consumer marketing and brand administration, including brand strategy, consumer and trade promotions, consumer research and analysis, market analysis, product development, pricing, advertising, packaging development, financial analysis and budget management
• Responsible for digital and social media advertising and strategy for the brands
• Responsible for implementing brand strategy within the country in close collaboration with Commercial Manager, Marketing Consultant and key distributors.
• Identify and analyze product performance information, anticipate problems and contingency plans to ensure portfolio success.
• Manage marketing and customer driven programs including annual planning, brand presentations, overall Shopper Marketing Insights and category guidelines.
• Develop and maintain monthly update reports on sales, marketing budgets, profitability and provide detailed input to be used by senior management for strategic planning
• Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position, raise questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue, apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct.
• Lead, develop, mentor and coach the brand assistant, beauty promoter teams and ensure excellent performance of KPIs for the department.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Management of marketing plans that includes the Category Product Strategy and budget.
• A documented quarterly and annual execution plan
• Achievement of brand volume and value targets.
• Deliver clear route-to-market plans for new and existing products with timelines based on target market segmentation

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration
Professional Qualifications
• Post Graduate qualification in marketing e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
• Member of MSK

Additional Requirement
• Skills in digital marketing especially on digital content creation and curation.

Experience
• At least 4 year brand management experience in FMCG
