Key Responsibilities:
Lead Prospect Relationships: Take ownership of direct relationships with prospects, from initial prospecting to invoicing.
Networking Events: Represent Solaris Offgrid at networking events, related to essential services markets, with a focus on Microfinance for our new recruit.
Stakeholder Education: Educate PaygOps stakeholders on industry practitioners to convert them into prescribers.
Sales Engagement: Collaborate proactively to design outbound strategies and respond to sales-related inquiries.
Process Design: Co-design processes to ensure they are data-driven and trackable for sales operations.
Industry Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the last-mile SaaS market and its stakeholders in the African context through research and networking.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc
Extensive knowledge and experience in SaaS platforms like Odoo, Zoho, or equivalent.
Previous experience in Finance for the BoP a plus.
Proficient in English; Good notions of French are a plus
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives, including revenue and pipeline targets.
Excellent listening and communication skills, with abilities to engage, ask relevant questions and follow up on conversations with potential customers and partners.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take initiatives and see them through to completion.
Ability to exercise effective judgment, curiosity, and empathy when conversing with prospects.
Demonstrating creativity in response to changing needs and situations, while ensuring technical compliance with PaygOps features.
