targeted at Microfinance & Saccos.
Summary
The Business Development Manager, based
in Nairobi, will lead business development activities in our organization for all
new and existing clients. This position will provide strategic
leadership in business development to maintain a healthy, productive client
pipeline of new business. The role also includes day to day management of all
sales activities to ensure Presta meets all revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Develop new business
Develop additional customer relationships in existing markets.
Develop and maintain a sales plan and pipeline.
Close new business with existing customers.
Prospect for new customers.
Close new business as per the agreed-to business development plan.
Develop sales presentations and participate in meetings with clients and external vendors.
Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
Generating new business and raise awareness of the company products.
Meet and exceed quarterly & annual targets.
Build and maintain relationships at the executive, operational and IT level.
Develop strong knowledge of the company's products and services as well as competitors in the market place.
Set proper expectations in sales cycles that result in customers who can be used as positive references for future prospects.
Network, socialize and generate leads.

Requirements
Demonstrated understanding/experience in software sales.
5+ years sales and business development experience with specific experience in software sales to organizations.
Passion for relationship building.
Deep understanding of selling to highly hierarchical organizations.
Strong communication skills.
Passion and enthusiasm for world-class customer service
Strong skills in Software selling
Experience in working for micro finance entity or sacco will be an added advantage.
