This is a partially remote position based in Nairobi, Kenya, , but you will be required to travel to meet with clients as needed. Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives that drive the company's expansion and profitability.Gather and analyze data to evaluate overall company performance, ensuring the availability of key data for informed decision-making at the executive level.Build strong relationships with executives and senior management, fostering open communication and collaboration.Work closely with department heads to develop comprehensive operational plans that enhance compliance and operational efficiency.Lead initiatives to identify gaps and areas for growth, focusing on data availability and utilization.
Proactively provide solutions to anticipate future challenges.Identify, collect, and validate data relevant to BSC metrics, including financial, customer, internal processes, and learning & growth perspectives.Manage and implement clear data collection schedules and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.Maintain accurate records of data sources for audit and verification purposes.
Ensure secure data storage and compliance with regulations.Conduct regular audits to verify data integrity and continuously improve processes.Align metrics with organizational goals and KPIs to ensure consistency and accuracy.Create and present clear, concise reports and dashboards that summarize BSC performance metrics.Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to prepare charts, graphs, and dashboards for easy understanding by stakeholders.Exhibit flexible availability to meet operational demands, including working outside of regular hours when necessary.Address operational challenges, lead teams to streamline processes, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.Identify gaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them, ensuring alignment with company strategy.The ProfileQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Business Law, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, data analysis, or a similar role.Proficiency in data and metrics analysis, with experience using reporting and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.Strong background in business or financial analysis, including product costing and quantitative analysis.Expertise in creating business intelligence reports and a solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other data analysis tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership abilities with a focus on driving operational improvements.Ability to anticipate business needs and implement proactive strategies.Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.The EmployerOur client is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida.
