About the Role: Interested experts should be able to demonstrate in-depth technical and scientific knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Gold Standard for Global Goals ("Gold Standard") carbon certification methodologies (mandatory experience in carbon asset development/certification / technical & or methodological reviews for Improved Cookstove projects under the GS methodology TPDDTEC V.3.1 & V.4.0) UNFCCC mechanisms (CDM & Article 6.4 mechanism), rules and certification procedures.
Demonstrable experience in carbon asset development/certification / technical & or methodological reviews for Improved Cookstove projects under the CDM methodologies AMS-II.
G, AMS-I.E preferred A demonstrable track record in end-to-end certification of carbon credits – for carbon asset development experts and or a demonstrable track record of GHG certification under the VCM as lead auditor for 3+ years Nature-based & Carbon removal certification methodologies are preferred, not mandatory Excellent analytical and communication skills The nominated experts will: Compute and draft technical attestations, emissions reduction computations, technical deviations, methodology reviews and draft methodologies for VCM & Compliance / Article 6 markets on a need-to-need basis.
Participate in technical meetings related to the design and certification of BURN's varied carbon asset portfolio Prepare technical input through official comments and contributions to BURN's position papers and publications Report to and liaise with the responsible BURN Lead Carbon Technical Experts All interested experts who wish to enrol on the ROE should submit their CVs highlighting your relevant technical expertise and experiences for the carbon market projects and an active email/phone number for reaching you.
