Chief Accountant

As a Chief Accountant you shall be responsible for preparing financial reports, accounts reconciliation,maintaining general ledger, preparing tax returns, payroll processing and assisting with audit preparations.

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing ina timely manner, timely remittance of all statutory deductions andreconciliations of payroll-related accounts.

Ensure tax complianceby preparing and submitting tax returns on time.

Analyse, reconcile,and maintain the general ledger accounts

Inventory Managementby ensuring that transactions related to inventory are posted correctly.

Monitoring expenditureand giving recommendation on areas of cost reduction.

Preparation and submission of financial,accounting and management reports for decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree inaccounting/Finance & CPA K

A minimum of 5 years’experience in Accounting, with 2 years’ experience as Head of

Experience in working with an internationalcompany would be an added advantage

Ability to work efficiently ina fast-paced environment

Detail oriented.
