Details of the offer

With a team of highly motivated and trained professionals my client provides both investment advisory and direct investments in fragile and frontiers markets. The direct investment team are looking to strategically hire a Chief Commercial Officer based in their Nairobi office with a core focus of transacting in C&I Solar.

Roles and responsibilities included but are not limited to;

Originating and developing C&I Solar transactions (15-25 year contracts)

Execution of DD on proposed deals

Grow, develop and train a team in order to ensure the mandate is satisfied

Develop pipeline of projects across sub-Saharan Africa

Actively engage with other teams and offer support including engineering, finance & operations

Provide strategic advice to leadership team

Key Requirements;

10+ years professional experience

Proven business development in sub-Saharan Africa (preference energy space)

Experience
in emerging / frontier markets

Experience delivering and selling PPP

Proficient understanding of C&I Solar
