Required Experience:
A Master’s Degree in public health, social services, management, or business administration, or related field.
Ten years of experience in a senior role leading a complex technical service delivery program of similar scope and dollar value.
At least seven years demonstrated, recent, experience within the capacity as senior staff in some aspect of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) programming; HIV/AIDS prevention; quality improvement/quality assurance; health systems strengthening; and M&E.
Seven years of demonstrated experience in partnership building, especially with government representatives, donors, the private sector, and local community organizations
Strong experience with USAID programming and financial reporting required; experience with PEPFAR funding strongly preferred.
Strong management skills, strategic vision, leadership qualities, professional reputation, ability to create synergies where applicable, interpersonal skills, and written and oral presentation skills to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the project description.
Professional level of oral and written fluency in English language.

Job Description
PATH Kenya seeks a Chief of Party for two upcoming multi-year USAID-funded “Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (KHPQS)” projects in Kenya, Cluster #11 - OVC & DREAMS Program and Cluster #5 - HIV, FP/RMNCAH, Nutrition, WASH, DREAMS and OVC. This project will increase use of quality county-led social services in selected counties in Kenya. These will be service delivery activities providing key OVC and adolescents services at the county level that contribute to the attainment of the Government of Kenya’s (GOK) goal of safeguarding the rights and welfare of children and adolescents impacted by HIV/AIDS.

The Chief of Party will have primary responsibility for liaising with USAID and other stakeholders in Kenya. He/she will oversee contract implementation, providing the technical vision and approach and managing the project team and consortium members. He/she will ensure the project complies with award terms and conditions, USAID policies and regulations, and systems are in place to mitigate risk of fraud, waste and abuse.
Position is contingent upon award to PATH Kenya.
