Clinical Officer (3 Positions)

To assist with implementation of the mental health Gap Action Programme-Intervention Guidelines (mhGAP-IG) study. The clinical officer will be expected to work under the supervision of principal investigators of mental, neurological and substance use disorders studies including assisting in other ongoing studies within the neuroscience group. Other roles will include data collection and recruitment, while observing adherence to standard operating protocols.

Responsibilities

Deliver mental health training and ongoing supervision to primary health care providers in Kilifi County
Participate in data collection and recruitment of study participants

Supervise study staff as delegated by the principal investigators

Foster good working relations with the study team and be willing to participate in continuous medical education (CME) activities in mental/neurological health research.

Job Requirements
Required education
: Diploma, Associate's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 3 years

Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
