Finlays is an equal opportunity employer.The JobReporting to the Finlays Community Charitable Trust Secretary, the job holder is responsible for executing trust decisions under the guidance of the trustees in accordance with established policies, procedures, constitutions, socio-ethical standards, company and legal requirements.Act as a link between the trust, local community and the companyHandle general office administrative duties to ensure smooth running of office operations.Ensure proper documentation and records are well kept.Convene trust meetings under the direction of the trust Secretary.Take minutes during meetings.Advertise, receive and collate project proposals to the trust.Make site visits of the projects and generate reports.Advertise, receive and collate applications for scholarships.Make follow up, monitor and evaluate trust activities.Process payments on behalf of the trustSupervise other employees.Minimum RequirementsA degree in a relevant engineering fieldDiploma in Project management is an added advantage.High level of competence and proficiency in computer packages3 years’ experience supervising projects in a rural community setup.Good management, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsFluency in the local dialectHigh level of integrity and honestyPeople skills, including teamwork.Project management skills is desirable.
