Our client is a company that distributes compressors within the East African region. With over 20 years in operation they one stop shop for a total engineered solutions that include
Supply, design, project management, installation, commissioning and full after sales service. They are looking forward to filling a Compressor Senior Sales Executive role. The ideal candidate will focus on increasing business opportunities for the organization by developing and executing Sales strategies that will enhance the organizational Strategy & objectives, customer acquisition & retention, product development & delivery.
The role also involves providing technical advice to prospective compressor clients and driving compressor sales.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver target sales and growth targets in terms of sales value and numbers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports/updates on position of sales targets achieved.
• Develop and sustain long-term relationships with clients.
• Gather information on customers for better customer profiling.
• Sourcing for intelligence on competition, new products and price and any other insights.
• Ensure that customers are served as per the set procedure, and customer complaints are handled.
• Ensure clients are well advised on product features, utility, usage etc based on their requirements.
• Maintenance and improvement of quality results by following laid down product standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
• Constant up-date of product knowledge through study of new product lines and participating in educational opportunities and training.
• Provide technical information or technical clarifications on compressors.
DESIRED CANDIDATE
• Minimum of 4 years experience in selling compressors.
• Previous experience in a senior sales role.
• Proven management competence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive industry and product knowledge.
• Proven commercial competencies with strong negotiating and closing skills.
• Ability to strategize and to recognize expansion opportunities.
• The ability to talk to people from all social groups, including high end decision makers and to close deals.
• Well-presented and articulate.
• Ability to take the initiative.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Good persuasive and interpersonal skills.
MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Negotiable
