JOB SUMMARY
To provide high-quality patient care, contribute to the development of treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage specialist clinic through reviewing and managing outpatient
Admit and manage inpatient as well as review inpatient cases when called upon
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
Provide expert consultations for complex cases and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance patient care and hospital services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including clinical notes and diagnostic reports.
Participate in marketing activities to promote the Hospital's brand and Train and mentor doctors and nurses
Advice on strategy for department growth and participate in formulation of departmental SOPs
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery.
Master's degree in Internal Medicine.
Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council with a Valid Practice License.
Certificate in ACLS, BLS will be an added advantage.
Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover as well as Proficiency in computer applications.
At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician with in-depth knowledge and experience in echocardiography. JOB SKILLS
