We are looking for a content strategist freelancer who has extensive knowledge in inbound marketing.
We are looking for a content strategist freelancer who has extensive knowledge in inbound marketing. The freelancer should have a broad set of content marketing skills (i.e. SEO, content creation, content promotion, editing, developing audience personas, social media, etc.) and will use those skills to build, manage, execute, and grow our brand’s content strategy
Responsibilities
• Build and manage audience personas.
• develop a content strategy that drives targeted inbound traffic and guides visitors through the sales funnel
• Develop content geared for long term customer retention.
• Play a lead role in building brand loyalty and improving customer retention
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Creating, optimizing, tracking, updating, and editing content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
• Coordinate with product management and technical teams to illustrate content
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in content writing and publishing to maximize online visibility of our web pages in search results
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Monitor and analyze key performance as per set KPIs to offer suggestions for improvement
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Extensive knowledge on web publications, SEO and other digital marketing tools
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
• Ability to meet deadlines
• A minimum BSc in Marketing, or related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in content content strategy and search engine optimization.
