Details of the offer

Job Purpose:Growth of general insurance business to meet set annual premium targets.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

Bachelors’ degree in a business related field

Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII or AIIK)

At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in sales preferably in the insurance and/or financial services industry

A high degree of maturity and self-drive;

Capacity in sales management and relationship building;
Emerging Leaders Competency Descriptions.

Key responsibilities:
Secure new business through brokers

Maintain excellent customer service to brokers and clients

Service existing business

Follow up on renewals for general insurance business

Forward proposal forms to underwriting department

Follow up premium collections

Prepare weekly reports as required

Undertake initial underwriting in accordance with set guidelines to ensure sound acceptance of risk

Respond to customer and client enquiries
Delegated Authority: As per the approved Delegated Authority Matrix

: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 2 years
