Functions of the County Policing Authority:
Propose police performance priorities in the county.
Monitor crime trends and set targets for police operations, with special attention to vulnerable groups such as women and children
Provide public oversight and feedback on police service delivery
Ensure accountability of policing services to the county's residents
Receive and review reports from Community Policing Forums and Committees
Ensure compliance with national policing standards and report regularly to the Inspector-General, the Cabinet Secretary, and the County Assembly
Members Required Qualifications:
Be ordinarily resident or employed in the county for a continuous period of not less than three years.
Demonstrate good moral character and integrity.
Be of sound mind and have no criminal record.
Not be bankrupt or have violated the Constitution.
