Our Client, engaged in Manufacturing and distribution of Plastics Packaging and Chemicals based in Kenya, is looking for the above Professional to join their team.
Position: Credit Controller
Nationality: Kenyan Citizens
Location: Nairobi
Industry: Plastic Packaging and Chemicals
Qualification Bachelor of Commerce / CPA / CCP or equivalent
Experience: Should have experience between 5-12 years in Accounting / Credit Control Function
Mandatory Requirement: Should have worked in plastic packaging and manufacturing Industry.
Skill Set: Working knowledge of MS Offices suites and Tally 9. SAP knowledge would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
**Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Finance & Accounts ) the Credit Controller would be required to :**
• Generating Customers’ Account Statement on daily basis and forwarding the same to customers for confirmation purpose. Reconciliation of account statements involving all stakeholders on monthly basis and ensuring signed and stamped statement confirmation from customers.
• Daily follow up of collections from customers over phone. (by speaking/meeting directly with customers or through Sales Executives or both as per need from time to time).
• In case of new customer creation, visit to customer place with Sales Team to verify authenticity of Customer.
• Checking the supporting documents received from customers along with duly filled in all respect the CRF (Customer Credit Request Form), signed & Stamped. Supporting documents include PIN Certificate, Company Registration/Certificate of Incorporation etc.
• Providing suggestion on creating credit limit of new customers to management.
• Providing suggestion on revision of Credit limit of existing customers on the basis of their sales and collection performance.
• Generating periodic reports from Tally (In future from SAP and from SAP where SAP is already in force) and submission to management on timely basis.
• Visit to Problematic Customers and do efforts to make collection.
• In the absence of any accounting team, accept / perform duties of accountant.
• Helping Accounts Manager for creating monthly MIS .
Salary and benefits Will depend on experience and background. Sales incentive as per company policy.
Joining: Immediate / or after notice period.
