DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security Architecture & Strategy:Participate in domain technical and business discussions to shape future security architecture direction. Analyze current vs. future state security posture and develop cohesive implementation roadmaps. Gather and analyze security requirements at project level, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Contribute to infrastructure architecture governance model and security standardization initiatives.
Infrastructure Security Management: Design and deploy secure infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, and regulatory compliance requirements. Serve as technical authority for ongoing administration and incident management of core infrastructure including network security, virtualization, patching, monitoring, and backup systems. Operate and maintain enterprise security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management platforms.
Security Operations & Monitoring: Execute and analyze vulnerability assessments and compliance scans to support continuous monitoring and reporting. Implement and manage security monitoring tools, log correlation systems, and incident response procedures. Drive operational excellence in security operations, delivering measurable risk management and economic benefits. Ensure all security activities comply with applicable processes and procedures (ISO9001, ISO27001).
Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Provide technical expertise and consultation across multiple projects and functional domains. Mentor engineering teams on secure implementation practices and security best practices. Support cross-functional teams in integrating security considerations into the software development lifecycle

KEY COMPETENCIES:
Technical Proficiency
Advanced system administration skills in Windows and Linux environments
Expert-level knowledge of network infrastructure including Cisco enterprise hardware, VLAN, ACL, routing, and VPN technologies
Proficiency in enterprise security management tools (Cisco ASA, Fortinet Fortigate, or equivalent)
Strong experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, HA, DRS, vStorage APIs)
Comprehensive understanding of storage systems (NAS/SAN, HP 3PAR/MSA/EVA, EMC DataDomain)
Expertise in backup technologies and incident response (NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Networker)

2. Security Expertise
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat landscape
Experience with anti-virus implementations (McAfee EPO, Bitdefender, Microsoft Forefront)
Proficiency in security monitoring and log analysis tools (Nagios, Graylog, Splunk)
Strong understanding of vulnerability management and compliance frameworks
Experience with IPAMs and enterprise password management solutions

Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and system administration roles
Proven track record of successful problem analysis, identification, and resolution
Strong understanding of ITIL and change management policies and procedures
