We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Project Manager on behalf of our client, a global IT and innovation powerhouse, for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project timelines. This individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end design project workflows, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards in project execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage multiple design projects, tracking deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
Maintain centralized and up-to-date project documentation and timelines across tools like Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Loop, Planner, and Microsoft Teams.
Support resource planning and allocation decisions in collaboration with producers and design leads.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and project reviews using a hybrid project management approach.
Act as the communication bridge between design, engineering, marketing, and product teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of goals.
Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and risk mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
Prepare end users for upcoming design-related changes by coordinating documentation, training, and transition support.
Champion design process improvements through the use of AI tools and project forecasting methods.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing design or digital product projects, ideally within fast-paced, high-performance environments.
Experience working in design studios or tech-driven organizations with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong proficiency in project collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Loop, and M365 Copilot.
Familiarity with Figma and design system workflows, including taxonomy, versioning, and asset management.
Demonstrable experience in task coordination, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team collaboration.
Proven ability to implement hybrid project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to drive productivity and alignment.
Exposure to AI-powered tools that enhance project delivery—such as automating task assignments or predicting timelines—is a strong plus.
