Devops Engineer

Eneza Education is an ed-tech company focused on serving the underserved student population in Africa that typically has little to no access to the internet.We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.DevOps Engineer responsibilities are designing and implementing a modern CI/CD workflow that will include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you.Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.Implement integrations requested by customersEnsure downtime free automation of deployment of new features across our productsBuild / Ensure integration of tools that give visibility into occurrences of errors, surface them based on impact to customer Perform root cause analysis for production errorsInvestigate and resolve technical issuesSelecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD toolsStrive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenanceRequirementsWork experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roleGood knowledge of Ruby or Python and BASHWorking knowledge of databases and SQLCertification on AWS cloud technologies(associate level is fine)Demonstrable experience with CI-CD tools e:g Circle CI, Github ActionsExperience with running and managing containerised workloads on Kubernetes or ECS
