We are seeking a Digital Currencies and Monetary Policy Consultant Trainer to design and deliver training on the impact of digital currencies (including CBDCs and cryptocurrencies) on monetary policy and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update training modules on digital currencies, blockchain technology, and their policy implications.
Deliver training to financial sector professionals, regulators, and policymakers.
Provide practical case studies and exercises on regulatory frameworks and policy analysis.
Guide participants in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and innovation strategies.
Integrate the latest global and local trends in digital finance into training content.
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve methodologies.
Support organizations in navigating the evolving landscape of digital currencies.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Digital Finance.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital finance, monetary policy, or fintech.
Experience in professional training or capacity building.
Strong knowledge of CBK regulations and Kenya's fintech ecosystem.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and research skills.
