A grocery and liquor store, with an in-store coffee shop in Westlands, Nairobi is looking for a digital marketer/e-commerce manager, with graphic designing skills who will be responsible for its online sales/retail presence, and to supplement its traditional store by bringing customers to its website.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Initiate market research and develop pricing strategies for the online business
• Review sales data, returns management and stock levels
• Manage customer relations and effective communication across all conventional, and online medium, including messenger services, email, social media, etc.
• Effectively manage and plan delivery logistics
• Create and/or manage websites that are appealing, original, and corporate
• Technical web making skills and graphic designing skills would be a definite advantage
• Graphic designing skills would include the ability to conceptualize visuals, use of appropriate color and layouts, and the development of illustrations
• Conceptualize visuals to extend to the in-store branding, aesthetics and store signages
• Running online and social media campaigns that include social media marketing, creating and handling social media accounts
• Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance
• Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyze the content success
• Contact, interview, and hire third-party graphic designers, web designers, and videographers to create unique and engaging content
• Creating and maintaining our company blog with clear, well written and thoroughly researched articles on our products and ongoing in our industry.
• Email marketing – list maintenance, segmentation, execution, monitoring, reporting
• Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
Job Requirements:
• Bachelors in Marketing, Business, IT or related fields
• Business management know-how, and knowledge of strategies for increasing sales
• Minimum 4 years demonstrable experience in digital marketing
• Proven graphic designing/content writing experience
• Familiarity with design software and technologies
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Ability to work with a team, methodically and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
