Job Summary
Our client in the business of corporate event management is in need of a Digital Marketing Officer who will develop strong and innovative digital marketing strategies using SEO, PPC and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. He / She will also create engaging written, graphic and video content while staying up to date on latest marketing technologies and social media.

Job Description
LOCATION:Nairobi within the CBD
SALARY:Ksh 30,000- Ksh 50,000 + Commission
Key Accountabilities
a. Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies.
b. Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences’.
c. Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
d. Develop engaging online content including click bait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyze content success
e. Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns.
f. Manage email and social media marketing campaigns
g. Contract, interview, and hire third party graphic designers, and videographers to create unique and engaging content
h. Use Google analytics, Google ad words and other relevant sites with objective of increasing the company visibility
i. Drive traffic to company pages.
j. Website development and management
k. Excellent skills in social media management
l. Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas and implementing projects
m. Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies and digital marketing trends.
n. Implement new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing
• Proven working experience in digital marketing of at least 2 – 3 years.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM , marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development platforms.
• Strong Analytical Skills and data driven thinking.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurements.
