E T Consultant

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.

5 years of experience working with entrepreneurs, accelerators and other entrepreneurial / digital ecosystem activities. Experience managing projects is a plus.

Genuine commitment to development and to the World Bank Group and IFC's mission, strategy and values.

Track record of engaging with private sector clients, consultants and relevant government authorities and other stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in monitoring and reporting on a portfolio of projects.

Sensitivity for working in multicultural environment, commitment to diversity, and ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and partners across regions and sectors.

Strong work ethic, self-driven with strong initiative.

Excellent people skills, openness to feedback, new ideas, and ability to innovate.

Responsibilities

Identify, assess and prioritize activities for the launch of ScaleX

Manage and supervise the activities surrounding the operations of ScaleX

Design and structure value addition activities that would enhance the ability of the ScaleX program to deliver on its goals

Coordinate the ScaleX platform across accelerators, investors and startups. Coordinate and manage all interactions with the selected platform operator.

Coordinate and manage all IFC processes required for the management of ScaleX as well as other IFC processes to enable programs that address the gender gap.

Lead the administration of and reporting of performance and development impact resulting from all ScaleX activities including monitoring progress against KPIs and preparing regular reports

Proactively source & build partnerships with accelerators and investors to address the gender gap through the ScaleX platform as well as across the entrepreneurial ecosystem to address different aspects of the gender gap in private equity & venture capital

Timeline: ScaleX is a three year program in the pilot phase.
