We are a medium-sized school located off Thika Road in Roysambu looking for a qualified candidate to offer quality early childhood to our students through fun, friendly ways that encourage kids to learn according to the CBC Curriculum and will practice basic administration tasks related to teaching.

? Be a good communicator with adults and children.

Main Duties:
? To take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work programmes for all pupils in the designated class, within the Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).
? To support and drive the vision and values of the school.
? To maintain and use assessment records and report on pupils’ progress to staff, and to parents and caregivers, in accordance with school policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
? To plan a program that helps each learner achieve learning objectives and curriculum goals.
? To prepare lesson materials and resources ahead of time.
? Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and all required professional documents.
? Create and utilize music, art, games and other resources to enhance learning
? Foster a positive and enriching classroom environment that is conducive for learning.
? Supervise students throughout the day in the classroom and outdoors.
? To follow and implement school policies and procedures.
? To write daily assessment reports (formative assessments), maintain records and provide written reports to parents.
? To provide well-planned, creative and engaging learning experiences for pupils.
? To be committed to the School’s Continuing Professional Development programme.
? To undertake required duties and attend regular staff meetings before, during and after school hours when required.
? To plan and participate in staff activities eg Trainings, Bulletin Board duties, leading Assembly, Transport duties.
? To organise and take pupils on field trips in a safe and secure manner, in accordance with school policies.
? To supervise and adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols for learners, staff and visitors.
? To offer psycho-social support to learners through counselling.
? To ensure confidentiality concerning pupils, parents, colleagues and school business.
? To maintain professional levels of conduct and adhere to the School’s Code of Conduct for staff.
