Job Summary The Electrician performs a broad range of electrical maintenance, repair, and construction support, also incorporating inspection and testing of distribution systems, and circuit fault finding.
Principal Accountabilities Identify life, health, and safety (LHS) issues and repair circuit faults on electrical systems Install, maintain, repair, or replace electrical equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards Identify proper materials for use on specific installations and complete maintenance and repair records Follow all safety rules and procedures including wearing required personal safety equipment Oversee electrical work of assigned employees to ensure compliance with standards Ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained in a safe operating condition and work areas are clean and hazard free Perform other qualified duties as assigned Knowledge
