Mpala Research Centre is an exceptional hub of field-based research nestled within the captivating landscapes of Laikipia. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Executive Director. This role requires exceptional administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic research environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
Calendar Management: - Expertly manage the Executive Director's time through comprehensive calendar coordination and scheduling.
Communication and Correspondence: -Serve as the communications hub for the Executive Director, handling all written and verbal exchanges with professionalism and accuracy.
Board Support: - Act as the critical link between the Executive Director and Board of Directors, ensuring seamless governance operations.
Donor Relations Support - Facilitate and strengthen donor engagement through meticulous correspondence, documentation, and follow-up systems.
Travel and Logistics: - Coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements and logistics to ensure smooth, efficient operations for the Executive Director.
Event Planning: -Orchestrate high-profile events and VIP visits that advance the organization's mission and stakeholder relationships.
Administrative Support: -Provide comprehensive administrative foundation that enables efficient operations across all organizational activities.
Research Support -Support the Executive Director's research leadership through information gathering, literature review, and proposal development.
Relationship Management: -Cultivate and maintain essential relationships with internal and external stakeholders that advance organizational goals.
Additional Duties: -Demonstrate flexibility in supporting the Executive Director with other tasks as needed.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Executive assistant role preferably in non-profit organizations
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital communication tools
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
