Diploma/degree in clearing & forwarding, business administration or related fields. Good analytical and interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate technical issues and manage multiple priorities.

Good reporting skills

At least 5 years of relevant experience in an fmcg company.
Responsibilities
Export assistant will perform the following duties:-
Responsible for receiving customers requirements and order confirmations. Responsible for preparing proforma invoices, commercial invoices and packing lists for export shipments in erp or any other document required.

Responsible for coordinating of export entries and export certificates to the clearing agent for exports.

Responsible for appointing and following up with transporters and document follow up from the transporters as well as transporters payment.

Responsible for the checking of all exit notes or whatever is required for the purpose of vat refund claim and audit.

Responsible for applying, paying and collecting comesa/eac certificates from kra, for export to comesa - countries and eac countries. Coordinating inspection bodies, e.G. Sgs, arrange for the required documentations, and subsequent follow ups e.G.

Making sure crf (clean report of finding) reaches the client.

Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 5 years

Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
