Golf Hotel Kakamega seeks to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic, competent and Change agents to fill the position ofF&B Manager.
Job Purpose :
The F&B Manager’s responsibilities will include heading the F&B Department, preparing the F&B Service departmental budgets according to the relevant laws and policies.
Person Specification :
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;
At least eight (8) years’ work experience, three (3) of whichmust have been in supervisory management
Diploma in relevant Food and Beverage Sales or equivalentfrom a recognised institution
Professional qualification and membership where applicable
Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks.
Proficiency in computer applications
Fulfilled therequirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of the F&B Manager willentail;
Managing all F&B and day-to-day operations withinbudgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Preserving excellent levels of internal and externalcustomer service
Designing exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuouslymake necessary improvements
Identifying customers’ needs and respond proactively to allof their concerns
Leading F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training andappraising talented personnel
Establishing targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies andprocedures
Providing a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environmentwith emphasis in motivation and teamwork
Complying with all health and safety regulations
Report on management regarding sales results andproductivity
Develop a relationship with regular customers
Follow food and safety regulations
Ensuring that customers are satisfied with food and service
Assisting with marketing events
Creating restaurant policies
Job Requirements
Required education
: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 7 years
Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
