Pet Store Kenyais a looking for a competitive field sales representative to join its team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building brand awareness and increase income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, managing sales and research sales competition.
Responsibilities
Provide a weekly schedule for customer visits (optimizing routes)
-Pre-plan which are for exploring new leads
-Pre-plan visits to areas outside of Nairobi for lead generation
Check on product placement
Check on stock levels on shelves and in-store
Fill in the order form with the customer (propose next order when necessary)
Send order to[email protected]and notify Logistics team to prepare it for the next delivery
Ensure the order is delivered by verifying delivery with Logistics team
Return to outlet within 24 hours after a new order has been delivered to ensure it is on the shelves
Find new outlets and customers, make contact if desired and involve Sales management to close the first
sale if necessary
Finalize payment terms
Provide a weekly report of new accounts
Work with the accountant on collections
Key Performance Indicators:Number of new accounts per month: B2B, Supermarket, Breeder, Security company, Pet shop, Pet
Boarding, and retail
o Target: Minimum 10 new accounts monthly
Increasing sales of existing accounts
Accurate record keeping; Efficient route planning
Efficient use of: Phone, driver, vehicle and transport allowance
Job Requirements
Required education
: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 2 years
Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)

Compensation
Salary range:KSh25,000 - KSh35,000
Sales commission commensurate with meeting / exceeding respective sales and lead targets
