Finance Assistant (Temporary) At Summit Recruitment And Search

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Maintain financial records and documentation, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded and readily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes.
Manage petty cash, ensuring timely reconciliation to maintain a clear audit trail and prevent discrepancies.
Update and maintain the asset register to accurately track the organization's tangible assets.
Assist in preparing and filing statutory documents and reports to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements as well as responsible for KRA follow-ups.
Preparing of VAT schedules, reconcile customer accounts and ensure VAT withholding taxes are paid on time.
Responsible for filing and management of all documents.
Management of inventory.
Any other financial/accounting function that is reasonably expected of the position.

Qualifications:
Must have completed at least CPA – Foundation Level and or Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting.
Proficient in using financial software and tools, such as Pastel ERP systems / SAGE and MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
