JOB DESCRIPTION: PERFORMANCE BASED
JOB TITLE: FINANCE MANAGER
JOB REPORT TO: Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
DEPARTMENT&NORMAL DUTY STATION: FINANCE DEPARTMENT

JOB PURPOSE:
We are a leading company with regional presence seeking to hire Finance manager. S/he will lead the business Unit’s marketing and ensures optimum revenue and business growth.
We are seeking for an individual with keen attention to details and strong interpersonal skills, a team, a player, and able to work in a high pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities;
1. Maintenance of proper and reliable financial records on behalf of the company.
2. Reviewing and strengthening internal control systems and implementing checks and balances where there are lapses.
3. Checking and approving suppliers’ payments and managing the debt collection.
4. Advising the company on cost controls and proper allocation of resources to enable achievement of optimal results.
5. Maintenance of general ledger, creditors and debtors ledger and also ensuring timely reconciliation of individual accounts.
6. Preparing and maintaining assets records to ensure accuracy, completeness and existence.
7. Supervising subordinate staff.
8. Liaising and negotiating with company creditors and lenders payments.
9. Any other duty that may be reasonably allocated to you by the directors.

Qualifications;
i. Degree in accountancy, or the equivalent and CPAK or ACCA qualified
ii. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance advisory management role.
iii. Solid Knowledge of corporate tax compliance requirements, including VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, Rent Installment Tax, income Tax etc.
iv. Knowledge of international taxation law and regulations.
v. Registration in a professional body shall be an added advantage
