To achieve best use of resources through financial planning and analysis in realizing business objectives, Avenue Healthcare seeks to recruit a Financial astute candidate to join as the Financial Analyst, Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer. The Successful candidate will be expected to have good understanding in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis and Reporting.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
POSITION:** FINANCIAL ANALYST
DEPARTMENT: FINANCE
REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
• Support the CEO and CFO in preparing Board reports.
• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
• Perform financial and business analysis on revenue, cost, and activity to assist management in decision making.
• Lead costing & pricing exercise of various services in the organization.
• Prepare branch accounts and including relevant KPIs, ratios and variance analysis.
• Produce and analyse business cases for new expansion projects and revenue generating CAPEX requirements.
• Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
• Maintain and share knowledge and keep abreast of new tax, accounting, and investment regulations or policies.
• Develop models that help with decision-making.
• Support the financial controller in managing the finance department.
• Support branch and hospital manager in interpreting and understanding their income statements.
Person Specification
• Be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a recognized institution.
• A post Graduate Qualification in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Be certified holder of CPA-K / ACCA or an equivalent accreditation.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant working experience accounting, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, and reporting
• Be a member in good standing of a relevant and recognized professional body.
• Proven Experience as a Financial Analyst or similar
• Proficient in Excel and Accounting systems
• Confident and excellent communication and Presentation skills
• Excellent commercial and sharp business acumen
• Critical thinking, Analytical and Decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and Decision-making skills.
