Job Overview We are looking for capable and friendly Front of House Agents to work at the Front of House. In this role, your duties will include answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and welcoming visitors. To ensure success in this role, you should possess experience in office administration and the ability to communicate with members of the public. Top-class candidates for us are capable administrators who make visitors arriving at our House feel welcome. Duties and Responsibilities Meeting and greeting guests with a smile Helping guests by answering any questions and concerns Checking in guests while adhering to our check-in policy Checking out guests while adhering to our check-out policy Providing financial services that may be required by the guests e.g. forex exchange Briefing guests upon check-in about the hotel's facilities Maintaining an orderly front desk Operating office machines e.g. PDQ's, Currency Validators, Scanners, fax machines and printers Be able to handle computer programs and multi-line phone systems Update guest profiles in the system and merge guest history for future reference Complete basic cashier and bookkeeping responsibilities and file reports accordingly. (Policies should be clearly followed.) Escalate issues in order to solve problems when challenges arise, ensuring guest comfort Providing an outstanding guest experience in line with our brand. Requirements, Skills & Abilities   Working knowledge of property management systems is required i.e. Opera, Fidelio etc. Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures Proficiency in English (oral and written) Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Integrity, honesty and transparency are a must Ability to multitask prioritize and work under pressure Certificate in Front Office operations or equivalent Experience in a 4/5* hotel Powered by JazzHR
