Details of the offer

The Client is seeking an experienced General Manager who is a born leader with previous managerial experience in financial institution with salary-based lending products targeting employees in private and public sector.
Background Information
Our client is a conglomerate business with interests in office furniture, office equipment leasing and asset financing. The company plans to expand its business portfolio to retail lending starting with credit products targeting employed persons in partnership with employers.
The Client would like to recruit a General Manager to lead the new company. The Client is seeking an experienced General Manager who is a born leader with previous managerial experience in financial institution with salary-based lending products targeting employees in private and public sector. He/she should have proven experience overseeing marketing, operations, human resources, finance, and communications functions.
The Job
The objectives for this role are:
1. Develop strategic plans for targeted business growth and overall corporate performance.
2. Continuously review and improve organizational effectiveness through sound processes, competent and motivated human resource and edge cutting technologies
3. Seek out and optimizing new opportunities for expansion and growth
4. Provide sound guidance to the CEO and directors
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1. Build local customer service teams to optimize customer experience, satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Build the last-kilometer distribution and service points through sound partnerships and collaborations
3. Regularly conducts customer research to understand customer needs and user pain points to inform service and product improvement
4. Works closely with investment, quality control, payment, operation, R&D and other departments to promote the rapid improvement of services quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications:
1. Master's /Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance Management or related field
2. At least two years’ experience in a senior role in a micro lending company with responsibility for business development, continuous improvement, individual and corporate performance and strategic planning
3. Working knowledge of human resources processes
