Co-Creation Hub includes CcHUB in Lagos, Nigeria & Windhoek, Namibia, Design Lab in Kigali, Rwanda - https://cchubnigeria.com/designlab/ and iHUB https://ihub.co.ke/ in Nairobi, Kenya.Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for managing all government affairs, developing and influencing partnerships with coalitions, the Public Sector, and all relevant interests groups to achieve desired regulatory outcomes;Serve as the primary point of contact between the Edtech company and government entitiesResponsible for developing and maintaining relationships with government and other stakeholders in the edtech industryRepresent the company at Edtech related government meetings and eventsAdvocate for edtech initiatives and policies that support the company's missionMonitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments in the edtech spaceDevelop and execute strategies to engage with government and other stakeholdersIdentify and pursue new government partnershipsNegotiate and manage contracts with government entitiesMonitor and report on government regulations and policiesPrepare reports and presentations for senior managementBe the go-to person for all things edtech government relations and partnerships-relatedKeep up with the latest Edtech trends and developmentsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, political science, Law or related field8- 10 years experience with 6+ years in government affairs, corporate affairs, public policy, or governmentPublic policy experience especially for tech or tech related spaceExceptional Stakeholder management SkillsExperience in leadership and change management
