Job Description/Requirements
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for cleaning & servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant & comfortable experience for guests. He/sheMUSThave 3 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure bed linen is changed and beds made to set standards.
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
• Maintain clean floors, i.e., sweeping, mopping, polishing, etc.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and room artefacts.
• Maintain toilets, bathrooms, and hand basins in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Ensure room linen is in good condition and any damaged linen is reported and returned to Laundry.
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Updating status of guest rooms as per set timelines.
• Replenish all the necessary supplies.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are returned to the house keeping stores after work.
• Conversant with chemicals used in your work and adhere to supplier instructions and company procedures.
• Maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress, in line with company grooming and uniforms standards.
• Be conversant with the Company Products and activities to update guests as needed.
• Comply with time keeping and attendance policies; to report at the workstation on time and allocated work shift.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality.
•Musthave at least 3 years’ experience as a Room Attendant in a 5-star establishment.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate in English & Kiswahili.
• Excellent Customer Care Skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Diligence and self-motivation to meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail.
•Mustbe willing to relocate.
• He/she should be energetic, proactive & professional in their work.
Monthly Gross Salary:Kes 30,000 (Approx. 300 USD).
Career Level:Junior Level.
