About the role:
We are looking for a Head of Telco Partnerships for Mdundo to build and maintain partnerships between Mdundo and VAS / Product functions within leading telcos across Africa. This is a new role and your major tasks will include;
Creating a network of prioritized telco partners across Africa.
Develop and pitch a proposal to telco partners across Africa.
Close and implement partnerships with telco partners across Africa.
Mdundo has a strong performing music platform across 15 African countries and we are looking for telco partners to create subscription packages for premium content on Mdundo allowing the telco’s subscribers to purchase premium content with airtime and mobile money. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of establishing similar partnerships with telecommunication companies in Africa.

Close and implement partnerships with telco partners across Africa.
Reporting to the CEO.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of work experience in telecommunication companies working with VAS / Product teams.
Proven track record of sales / establishing partnerships with senior B2B executives.
Extensive network within the telecommunication industry especially in VAS / Product / Marketing teams.
Passion for African music and the music industry.
