**12. Job Title: Information Communications Officer (1) Position
Key Responsibilities**
1. Installation and maintenance of computer systems;
2. configuration of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
3. Developing and updating application systems.
4. Carrying out systems analysis, design and program specifications in liaison with users;
5. Carrying out repairs and maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
6. Drawing up hardware specifications for Information Communication Technology equipment;
7. Verification, validation and certification of Information Communication Technology equipment;
8. Overseeing the process of configuration of new Information Communication Technology equipment.
9. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification & Competencies Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant field.
• Master’s degree will be added advantage
• 3- 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Have demonstrated managerial, administrative and professional Competence in work performance and exhibited a thorough understanding of national goals, policies and objectives. • Conversant with and experienced in utilization of e-learning.
• Practical understanding of common web-based technologies and Webhosting platforms.
