Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: - Assist in designing of electrical and electronic engineering services in government buildings and construction works; Inspect the installation of the electrical wiring for heating and air-conditioning systems, appliances and other components in government buildings and construction works; Examine electrical systems and equipment in government buildings and construction works; Inspect new and existing sound and security systems, wiring, lighting, motors and generating equipment in government buildings and construction works; and, assist in repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic installations in government buildings and construction works.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, an officer must have:
Diploma in any of the following fields: Electrical Engineering; Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from recognized institution; and,
Certificate in computer applications skills
