We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced KS1 or KS2 teacher to join us next term.
Our vision is to be “the best prep school in sub-Saharan Africa” and you must be capable of providing very high quality teaching to a class of 20 children in Year 2, 3 or 4. We will match the successful candidate with the year group they would like to teach and/or which they are most suited to.
Peponi House educates almost 400 children aged 6 to 13 from a cosmopolitan mix of local and expatriate families. Located in a leafy suburb of Nairobi, our motto “A school of many nations, a family of one” sums us up perfectly, and there is a bubbly, busy and very happy atmosphere throughout the school.
Teaching staff work hard and the school ethos is to know each child extremely well, providing really excellent teaching along with first-class pastoral care and constant encouragement. As a KS1/2 teacher you will have overall responsibility for your class and must be capable of planning and delivering a broad programme of lessons every day.
We have very high expectations of our class teachers and you must be energetic and enthusiastic, with several years of solid experience in a quality school. You must have vision and drive, you must be genuinely excited about teaching, and you must want to work in a fabulously “can-do” environment.
In return we are offering the chance to enjoy great job satisfaction along with a truly outstanding reward package.
Further details and the application form can be downloaded from this page.
